Why it matters
A meal is where hope starts.
For many families around Mactan, a warm meal, a safe place and someone who listens can change the shape of a week. We go to them — on beaches, in barangays and in our own church halls — with food, the love of Jesus and friendship that lasts beyond one visit.

It started with showing up.
Outreach at MCOF began the way most good things do — a few people who noticed a need and decided not to look away. Volunteers cooked, packed and carried meals to families who were struggling, and stayed long enough to pray, play with the children and learn their names.
Over time those visits became relationships. Children who first came for a meal came back for Bible stories, games and songs. Parents asked for prayer. Strangers became neighbours, and neighbours became family.
Today our outreach and MCOF Kids work hand in hand: feeding programs meet the immediate need, and our children's ministry keeps walking with those kids as they grow.
